Aria Minneapolis Indian Wedding • Neha + Tyler

We were so lucky to join Neha and Tyler as they kicked off their marriage with a two day East-meets-West extravaganza! These two have been together since way back in high school, and they traveled from their current home in New York City back to their MN roots to celebrate in style.

The weekend started with their Mehendi celebration in Neha’s parents’ own backyard. Guests were treated to outdoor dancing, henna, and plenty of delicious food. We then spent their wedding morning at the Hewing Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, where we held their first look overlooking the city skyline. Aria Minneapolis was the perfect backdrop for the rest of the day, providing the perfect contrast of industrial chic to guests’ elegant and colorful attire.

Highlights of the day: a circle of friends from all eras of their lives expressing their love and support, Tyler’s baraat around the streets of downtown Minneapolis, a family-style meal of Indian classics, some of the most emotionally powerful speeches we’ve ever witnessed, and surprise Bollywood dance performances by Neha’s best friends and family. Plenty of Beyoncé jams also served as the soundtrack for the day.

Neha and Tyler share a balance of respect, friendship, and loyalty that is truly incredible. Cheers to many more decades of love for these two partners in life!
