We are documentary photographers, or photojournalists, which means we anticipate, observe, and capture the unique and candid moments from your day so that you can hold on to them forever.
This style is the most timeless and true when it comes to weddings, because we believe that real connection and emotion make for the photos you’ll love most. We fell even more in love with this approach after our own wedding. It’s a true gift to be able to re-live the un-staged moments, genuine emotions, and real personalities of our favorite people whenever we want.
Our editing style follows suit: keeping it real, and not applying overly-intense filters that will date your photos over time.
It’s not just about the end product: we want you to experience your day to the fullest! We will encourage tons of connection when you’re with us. We are mindful of the integrity of your day, and we prefer to let moments happen organically. We always keep things fun + real - just think of us as two friends with cameras!
Two experienced photographers are best to document the countless memories that make up a wedding day, and we always work together so no moment goes uncovered. On top of 12 years in business and over 250 weddings together, Joe has his BFA in photography and Jen has her Masters in business management.

Wedding days feel like a treasure hunt to us - they’re made up of thousands of in-between moments that represent the richest parts of life. In many ways your photos become your memories. As your vision of the day fades you’re left with a feeling, and it’s our ultimate goal for your images to bring you back to that feeling each time you view them.
We make images that will ring true in a wedding album forever, rather than those that may fleetingly perform well on social media. We won’t stage or edit as trends dictate, because we want your day to stay unscripted, spontaneous, and unique to you.
Our promise: we will be there to anticipate and capture the people and moments that matter most. We’ll make space for the day to happen naturally, we’ll add to the fun, and we’ll laugh and cry by your sides throughout!

A bit about the wonderful people that choose to work with us: they’re teammates in life, and they are so excited to officially join their lives together with their communities. Family and friends mean everything, and they want their celebration to be all about joining them together to share in all of the joy.

Our couples mean so much to us because we get to know them - not just the flowers or linens they choose, but their true selves. We listen to them and we laugh with them, they’re open and present with us, and they tend to trust us a lot.
We are very lucky to have made many lifelong friends over the years through our work. We get to become a tiny part of some wonderful communities, and to make very important memories permanent for truly exceptional people. We get to do it all together - making this the very best “job” in the world.
