Industrial Black Swan MKE Wedding • Bret + Lindsay

Bret and Lindsay!! We traveled to Milwaukee this summer to watch our dear friends get hitched, and we were so honored to be there to document every moment by their sides. My absolute favorite thing about these two is how much they make each other laugh - basically whenever they’re together they’re cracking jokes and straight up giggling. Their first look shows this especially well. You can see that (after several tears) they simply relax and become fully themselves, and it’s just the best.

The day itself was all about their communities joining to celebrate them making it official after 7 years of togetherness. Black Swan in the Third Ward right along the river provided the perfect industrial yet cozy backdrop, with Ashley of Midwestern Bride keeping the day perfectly effortless and stunning. Lindsay lit up the room with her non-stop smile and incredible Hayley Paige dress, and I loved the classic cool tones of the bridal party’s suits and dresses. Their ceremony - led by Lindsay’s aunt/godmother - was such a profound thing to witness, and pretty much everyone in the room was crying with the bride as she walked down the aisle. After a cozy and delicious Tex Mex buffet for dinner this crew did what they do best: left it all on the dance floor.
